The Sawyer Mini water filter is a sealed cartridge with no way of getting to the inside without cutting into it.  I was kinda looking forward to the day my Sawyer Mini water filter expired so I could take it apart and see the guts of it, maybe make some modifications, hah…  After discovering this video I now know what’s in there and what I can expect to find.  Watch this fellow take apart both filters to see how they’re made…also, if you’re interested, you can see my current full water filtration setup, with my Sawyer Mini DIY carbon water filter attachment
